About Us

SNKP Capital takes its name from the Sanskrit word Sankalpa, whose etymology is rooted in the roots for a connection to higher truth (san) and an intention realized through determination (kalpa). The word describes the practice this firm is built on — deciding what capital is meant to accomplish, writing it down, and holding to it through the conditions that test the decision. SNKP Capital is an independent, fee-only advisory firm in Los Angeles, working with foundations, endowments, nonprofit organizations, and families whose capital carries an obligation beyond its owner. The firm is boutique by design: a limited number of relationships, each portfolio built individually against a stated objective, and institutional-grade discipline delivered without institutional distance.

Each strategy is built by drawing on a multi-custodial investment platform, firm-agnostic research, and deep expertise. The result: relationships built on trust, sustained over time, and guided by the firm's core values of intention, integrity, and impact.
